It all began almost nine years ago when Dan, the owner of 3V Gear, was looking to build a bug out bag for himself and his wife. He was frustrated with the lack of features, low quality, and exorbitant cost. Did a bag really need to cost over $300? Dan didn't think so and started working with a manufacturer to build a bag that fit his requirements. This was the birth of the Paratus 3-Day Operator's Pack.

The Paratus has changed a lot over the years but it is still one of the most popular products. The brand has evolved a lot since that time as well. Growing from one bag to almost 100 different products to meet the demands of our customers.

Selling directly to you enables us to have a great working relationship. We see how you use our packs and bags and get feedback directly from you. We even have a product development team made up of our customers that help guide the design process. We don’t have a design team locked in some room that never talks to our customers. We want to hear what is working for you and what isn’t. It helps us tweak the bag to make it that much better. Plus, who doesn’t love to have a company listen to them?
